The Position

As a Site Engineer you will form part of an experienced team, working alongside site management to ensure projects are completed on programme and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Develop construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings/documents
Oversee and manage construction projects and engineering processes
Analyze and offer technical advice to construction designs
Examine and calculate construction/project costs
Supervise team members and prepare work schedules
Coordinate with Contractors and Suppliers about construction materials and project contracts
Ensure all construction activities comply with the industry standards, safety guidelines, and regulations
Document detailed and accurate construction records
Ensure construction project completion on time and within the assigned budget
Communicate the project progress status with the Site Project Manager
Assess any discrepancies or potential risks to the project
Resolve any technical and developmental issues

Job Specification

Previous site experience of a minimum of 5 years on a broad range of projects.
A thorough knowledge of foundation types, RC structures, blockwork, steel frames, drainage and service installations.
Experience with all types of surveying equipment
A minimum qualification of HNC/HND or a Degree in a construction-based subject.
