We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our busy team.

The Position

As a Site Engineer you will form part of an experienced team, working alongside site management to ensure projects are completed on programme and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Develop construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings/documents
  • Oversee and manage construction projects and engineering processes
  • Analyze and offer technical advice to construction designs
  • Examine and calculate construction/project costs
  • Supervise team members and prepare work schedules
  • Coordinate with Contractors and Suppliers about construction materials and project contracts
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with the industry standards, safety guidelines, and regulations
  • Document detailed and accurate construction records
  • Ensure construction project completion on time and within the assigned budget
  • Communicate the project progress status with the Site Project Manager
  • Assess any discrepancies or potential risks to the project
  • Resolve any technical and developmental issues

Job Specification

  • Previous site experience of a minimum of 5 years on a broad range of projects.
  • A thorough knowledge of foundation types, RC structures, blockwork, steel frames, drainage and service installations.
  • Experience with all types of surveying equipment
  • A minimum qualification of HNC/HND or a Degree in a construction-based subject.
