We are delighted to celebrate completion of the final phases of Comprop’s Admiral Park project, marking the end of £80 million of development over the past five years.
As main contractor, we successfully completed all final phases; the 100-bed Premier Inn hotel, Good Rebel restaurant, the 40,000 sq ft No 1 The Plaza office building, 370 space multi-storey car park and finally, the 70,000 sq ft Plaza House, Guernsey's first BREEAM-accredited sustainable super prime office building, delivered on time and within budget.
Rihoy & Son has been closely involved in the development of Admiral Park across the past 25 years, building the original Checkers supermarket (now a Waitrose) and B&Q.
Gavin Rihoy, Chairman commented, “It's been a hugely successful project for Rihoy & Son and for the island. The investment Comprop has made, and the confidence it has shown in the island will have far reaching benefits for Guernsey. The Plaza House build faced several challenges, including significant weather related delays. But the team pulled together admirably to meet all the major deadlines on time and on budget. We're tremendously proud to have been involved in the delivery of this final phase of Admiral Park.”
