Elizabeth College 1st XI football reaches Guernsey FA Cup semi-final

The Elizabeth College 1^st XI football has reached the Guernsey FA Cup semi-final.

The College 1^st XI football team will play Rangers FC at Northfield on Friday 16 May.

It is rare for the Elizabeth College team to have reached such a stage of the competition, which otherwise consists of top Priaulx league teams.

As part of its continued support of local sporting talent, JW Rihoy & Son sponsors the Elizabeth College 1^st XI football team.

‘We believe in supporting the community in which we operate and as a result contribute to various sports individuals and teams in the island,’ said managing director, Gavin Rihoy.

‘We wish the Elizabeth College 1^st XI football team the best of luck for Friday’s match.’

JW Rihoy committed to sponsoring the team for two years, which began in September 2013.

The Guernsey FA Cup semi-final kicks off at 7pm.
