Rihoy & Son recently completed the construction of One, St Julian’s Avenue, a prestigious landmark development in the heart of St Peter Port.
The former Vauxlaurens Brewery site now offers 29 luxury local market apartments and 3 open market penthouses – all with exceptionally large and modern living spaces.
The complex construction project involved cohesive teamwork between Vauxlaurens Property Holdings Limited, architects Dunnell Robertson Partnership, structural engineers CBL Consulting and the project team at Rihoy & Son.
The site’s restrictive size and central location resulted in considerable logistical challenges in both the demolition and construction phases. From drilling down two storeys into the finest local granite for underground car parking to the 30-metre static tower crane that was shipped over by Rihoy & Son from the UK.
The result is loft-style apartment living at its best, combining contemporary architecture, sleek interior design and breathtaking views across the East coast of Guernsey and Candie Gardens.
