Our apprenticeship programme combines on-site learning with practical training, helping you build the technical knowledge and confidence needed to progress within the construction industry.
Hands-on site experience
Work alongside experienced groundworkers on active construction sites, supporting essential groundwork activities that prepare sites for buildings and infrastructure.
Practical skills development
Gain real-world experience in excavation, drainage installation, foundations, concreting, and paving works while developing essential construction skills. Successful apprentices may progress into roles such as:
- Skilled Groundworker
- Drainage or Concreting Specialist
- Team Leader or Site Foreman
- Plant Operator with further training
Mentorship
Work closely with experienced professionals who will provide guidance, support, and practical training throughout your apprenticeship.
Learning and development opportunities
- Excavation and ground preparation
- Drainage installation and water management systems
- Foundations and structural groundwork
- Concreting including sub-bases, shuttering, and reinforcement
- Paving and kerbing installation
