Rihoy & Son is Guernsey’s leading and longest-established building contractor, trusted since 1924.
We employ more than 250 staff and are involved with projects of all types and sizes all across Guernsey.
Rihoy & Son became the Channel Islands’ first building contractor to attain Chartered Building Company status in 2001. For nearly 25 years, this status identifies Rihoy & Son’s inherent commitment to quality, integrity and excellence in everything that we do.
Our expertise
Rihoy & Son is experienced in all sizes of traditional as well as design and build contracts, from sympathetic renovations, modern private homes and social housing, to hospitality, retail, commercial and light industrial.
For smaller projects, our Bespoke Projects Division offers a focus on insurance damage rectification services, domestic extensions and alterations, commercial fit outs and re-fits. We are able to compete with the smaller contractors traditionally involved in these areas with the peace of mind that comes with a long standing larger building contractor. Rihoy & Son also has its own Joinery Workshop providing interior and exterior joinery services from stairs and doors to windows and gates, undertaking manufacture and installation for both residential and commercial projects.
