Rihoy & Son strengthens Board with two new director appointments

Rihoy & Son has announced two appointments to its Board of Directors, both effective from 1 March 2026, further strengthening the leadership team of Guernsey’s leading and longest established building contractor.

Jim Anderson has been appointed Contracts Director after joining the business as Construction Manager, where he has been responsible for leading the delivery of the company’s mid sized projects. Jim brings extensive experience from a career in the UK construction sector, having worked at director level with major contractors and developers including Berkeley PLC, Barratt London PLC, Weston Homes and Dandara UK.

Chris Naftel has been appointed Projects Director, moving from his previous role as Contracts Manager. Originally from Guernsey, Chris is a Chartered Construction Manager with international experience across the UK and Australia. Since joining Rihoy & Son, he has played an important role in delivering several multidisciplinary projects and has developed a strong reputation for his technical expertise and understanding of the key drivers behind successful project delivery.

Dan Taylor, Managing Director of Rihoy & Son, said the appointments reflect the continued evolution of the company and the strengthening of its leadership team. “These appointments recognise the contribution both Jim and Chris have made to the company and the value of their experience within our senior team. Strengthening the Board ensures we continue to deliver high quality construction projects for our clients and support the long term development of the business.”
