Over the past few months, the David Mahungu Leadership Foundation (DMLF) has continued to demonstrate the powerful impact of investing in young people.
Among the many young people benefiting from this support are four outstanding DMLF scholars whose journeys highlight the real-world impact of the Foundation’s work.
From students gaining hands-on experience in healthcare and engineering, to taking part in field studies, mentorship programmes, and leadership development initiatives, DMLF is equipping scholars with the skills, confidence, and perspective needed to succeed beyond the classroom.
These experiences are helping to shape a new generation of capable, community-focused leaders across Kenya – individuals who are already applying their learning in real-world environments and making a meaningful difference.
At Rihoy & Son, we are proud to support this work through the E J Rihoy Charitable Trust. In 2024, the Trust began a partnership with DMLF, which is now becoming its primary overseas focus. Together, we are supporting an ambitious plan to grow from 20 students in 2025 to 500 by 2030.
This journey is already delivering tangible impact, and we look forward to seeing the Foundation continue to grow and transform even more lives in the years ahead.
